TIQI wants as many people as possible to be able to use this website and obtain information about our shop and stock.
Our accessibility aim
We are building the website with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our target. The site is intended to support keyboard navigation, browser zoom, clear focus indicators, readable contrast, meaningful headings and labels, and common screen-reader features.
This is a developing website and it has not yet undergone a complete independent accessibility audit. We therefore do not claim that every page currently meets every WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion.
Using the website
You should be able to:
- zoom text and page content using your browser;
- navigate the main menus, links, forms and product tabs using a keyboard;
- see a visible focus indicator when using a keyboard;
- use headings and landmarks to understand the page structure; and
- read text alternatives provided for informative images.
Your browser or device may also let you change text size, colours, contrast or use speech and screen-reading tools. AbilityNet publishes guidance at mcmw.abilitynet.org.uk on adapting computers, phones and tablets.
Current limitations
We are continuing to test the site as templates and content are completed. In particular:
- some product photographs and older content may need improved alternative text;
- third-party components supplied by WordPress, WooCommerce or linked external services may not always behave consistently with assistive technology; and
- documents or media added in future may need an alternative format.
If we identify a barrier that cannot be fixed immediately, we will record it here and provide a reasonable alternative where possible.
Contact us about accessibility
If you cannot access information, need it in another format, or find an accessibility problem, please tell us:
Email: shop@tiqi.uk
Telephone or WhatsApp: 07444 914200
Address: TIQI, 8–9 Bevan Street East, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR32 2AA
Please include the page address and a short description of the problem if you can. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible and will try to provide the information or service another way.
Visiting the shop
The main shop entrance has an automatic door and no entrance steps. Part of the shop is on the second floor and currently has no step-free access. Contact us before travelling if you would like help, information about access or an item brought to the accessible ground floor where practical.
How we assess accessibility
We use manual checks at a range of desktop, tablet and mobile widths and test important interactions such as keyboard navigation, focus, menus, product information and forms. A fuller WCAG review is required before we describe the site as fully conformant.
We review this statement when significant website changes are released, when testing identifies a new issue, or when someone reports a barrier.
